Sepideh N. has extensive experience in data science and leadership roles. Sepideh is currently serving as the VP-Data Science at PRA Group since September 2023. Before that, they worked as the AVP-Data Science at the same company, where they oversaw teams of data engineers and data scientists focusing on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering.

Prior to PRA Group, Sepideh worked as the Application Development Manager, leading and expanding a team of data scientists and data engineers. Sepideh also created an internal advanced analytics capability and provided guidance in process automation and software development lifecycle stages.

Sepideh's career in data science began as a Data Specialist at PRA Group, where they designed and developed applications to streamline processes and created predictive and simulation models for recoveries.

In addition to their work at PRA Group, Sepideh has worked at Tamin as the Director of Software Development, where they oversaw teams and managed various projects related to health data management and online medical services. Sepideh also served as the AVP Research & Development, managing advanced data mining and knowledge discovery systems.

Sepideh has prior experience as a Software Developer, Research Team Member, and Project Manager at Tamin, where they were involved in the development of various customized software applications for national organizations.

Before their industry experience, Sepideh worked as an Assistant Professor at Islamic Azad University Central Tehran Branch.

Sepideh N. has a diverse education history. Sepideh completed their Business Administration and Management degree, with a focus on Leading in the Digital Age, at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence & Robotic from Tehran University between 2003 and 2006. Sepideh also holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Azad University Tehran Central Branch, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Furthermore, Sepideh completed their high school education with a Diploma in Mathematics from Bahonar High school from 1992 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Sepideh has obtained several certifications. These include "Building a Data Science Team" from Johns Hopkins University, "Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud Platform" from Google Cloud, "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Google Cloud, and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Google Cloud. Sepideh also holds certifications in Microsoft SQL Server analysis and integration services, as well as ITIL Foundation V3.
