Yogesh Verma's work experience begins in 2001 as a QA & Test Engineer at GrapeCity India Pvt. Ltd. Yogesh then worked as a QA & Test Engineer at HCL Technologies from 2002 to 2003, where they reduced development costs and improved testing efficiency. From 2003 to 2007, Yogesh worked at LandAmerica Financial Group in various roles, including Sr. Systems Analyst & Outsourcing Liaison, where they achieved revenue growth and reduced operational budget. Yogesh then joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in 2009 as a Sr. Consultant, specializing in ERM, strategic planning, and process improvement. In 2015, Yogesh became the Director of Risk Management at Markel Corporation, responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's ERM framework. Yogesh then joined PenFed Credit Union in 2016 as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management, before assuming their current position in 2020 as the SVP of Enterprise Risk Management at PRA Group.
Yogesh Verma holds an MBA degree from Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business, which they obtained from 2006 to 2007. Yogesh also earned a Certificate in Strategic Decision and Risk Management from Stanford University in 2010-2011. In the same year, they completed an Executive Education program in Strategic Thinking and Management for Competitive Advantage at Wharton. Yogesh Verma completed their undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering from Bangalore University. Additionally, they attended Modern School, Vasant Vihar, from 1993 to 1995. In 2016, they participated in the Leading Strategic Growth program at Columbia Business School. Yogesh has obtained additional certifications such as the CRO Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy in 2020 and Leading Through Financial Excellence from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018.
