Shiv Lal Sharma

Shiv Lal Sharma is an experienced professional in project coordination and financial literacy, currently serving as a Project Officer for Practical Action on the Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA) funded Empowering Women Farmers with Digital Finance project since September 2022. Previously, Shiv worked with Habitat for Humanity International, overseeing financial literacy initiatives for marginalized women in Nepal. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Financial Literacy Cluster Coordinator and Financial Literacy Cluster Coordinator at DEPROSC-Nepal, focused on the SaMi Phase III project. Shiv also held positions related to micro health insurance and outreach expansion for various programs under USAID. Early career roles include public relations and community development. Shiv holds a Master’s Degree in Rural Development from the Central Department of Rural Development, TU, and a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from Butwal Multiple Campus, TU.
