Chief Technology Officer at Practice

Charles Christolini has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Charles currently works as the Chief Technology Officer at Practice, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they founded and served as the CEO of Ibex.io, a company that built technology to integrate saas products into a unified platform for improved productivity.

Before joining Practice, Charles worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2018 to 2022. Charles held various roles, including SDM - Builder Tools - Infrastructure as Code, where they built and managed the internal infrastructure as code organization across multiple timezones. Charles also took a parental break during their time at AWS and later worked as the SDM - Builder Tools - Release Excellence.

From 2015 to 2018, Charles served as the Senior Director of Engineering and Technology at Electronic Arts (EA). In this role, they led both engineering and technical strategy for the Technical Operations, Digital Platform, and developed a full-stack infrastructure platform that extended infrastructure as code beyond the cloud into the data center.

Prior to their time at EA, Charles was involved in various roles at Sapho, CBS Interactive, Webtrends, Transpond, ZLoop, and BinaryPie. At Sapho, they co-founded the company and served as the VP of Engineering and Chief Architect until its acquisition by Citrix. At CBS Interactive, they were the VP of Software Architecture, responsible for building a central software platform to power various CBSi websites. At Webtrends and Transpond, they held the position of Chief Architect, contributing to the development and operations of their web applications.

Throughout their career, Charles has demonstrated strong leadership, technical expertise, and a track record of successfully launching and scaling innovative technology solutions.

Charles Christolini completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Website Development & Business Management at Champlain College from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clarkson University between 2001 and 2003.
