Greg Maravilla, MBA, CPA, CFP® has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Greg started their career at Guardsmark, where they worked as a Manager in Finance and Operations from 1993 to 1997. At Groundswell, Greg served as a Senior Business Consultant from 2000 to 2001, providing business and internet strategy for high-profile clients. Greg then joined Vivendi Universal - MP3.com as a Manager in Finance and Operations from 2001 to 2002, where they structured sales deals and migrated ad-serving infrastructure.

Greg's next role was at Vivendi Universal - High Moon Studios, where they served as Director of Finance and Accounting from 2002 to 2005. During this time, they raised equity funding and executed licensing contracts while producing GAAP-compliant financial statements. Greg then moved on to FICO, a developer of FICO credit scores, where they worked as a Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis from 2005 to 2007. At FICO, Greg generated budgets and forecasts for a software and consulting company while structuring contracts for global clients.

Following this, Greg worked as a Finance and Accounting Consultant at QUALCOMM, INC. from 2010 to 2011, where they managed the FP&A function for a $200 million division.

Greg's next role was as Chief Financial Officer at Pelican Auto Finance, LLC from 2011 to 2016, where they led the finance function for a sub-prime automobile finance company. Finally, Greg joined PracticeCFO in 2016 as a CFO Advisor / Partner, assisting dental professionals in managing their accounting, tax, budgeting, and financial planning functions, as well as structuring retirement programs.

Greg Maravilla has an extensive education history. Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Harvard University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Greg furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, studying from 1997 to 1999.
