Michael Crocker

Michael Crocker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

From 2019 onwards, they worked at PracticePanther Law Practice Management Software, starting as a Development Lead and eventually becoming the Development Manager. In these roles, they oversaw the engineering team, improved processes, and implemented devops automation and native features for the web app. Michael also focused on system improvements related to performance, stability, and cloud infrastructure cost savings.

From 2016 to 2019, Michael worked at ORHub, Inc. as a Senior Engineer. Michael'sresponsibilities included expanding a cloud-based surgical resource management and analytics solution, building a data processing and calculation engine, extending a data ingest pipeline, and creating a surgical materials management system.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they were a Software Development Consultant at Pariveda Solutions. Here, they worked on various software development projects for companies in industries such as technology, telecommunication, and internet, involving the development of mobile apps, cloud-based applications, and advertising data optimization tools.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Computer Engineering at Pacific Lutheran University from 2011 to 2013. Michael taught a range of CS classes, supervised research projects, and led STEM workshops and educational outreach programs.

Between 2005 and 2011, they worked at the University of Notre Dame as a Graduate Research Assistant and a GK-12 Fellow. Michael'stasks included teaching computer programming to high school students, conducting research, and participating in outreach projects with K-12 teachers and students.

Michael also gained experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Notre Dame from 2003 to 2004, focusing on Molecular Dynamics and optimizing simulations. Michael developed a tool to analyze molecular simulations and identify parameters for the fastest runtime.

Michael Crocker attended the University of Notre Dame from 2001 to 2010, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering.
