Andrea Guerra was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Prada S.p.A. on 26 January 2023. A graduate of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Andrea Guerra started his career in hotel management as Marketing Director at Marriott International in 1989. In 1994, he joined Merloni Elettrodomestici in diverse commercial, manufacturing and central services functions, before becoming CEO of the company in 2000. In 2004, he became CEO of Luxottica Group, before being appointed Senior Strategic Advisor for Business, Finance and Industry to Matteo Renzi’s Italian government.
In 2015, he was appointed Executive Chairman of Eataly, the unique Food and Beverage concept promoting Italian high-quality food culture internationally. In 2020 he became CEO of LVMH Hospitality Excellence - the entity encompassing Hôtels Cheval Blanc and the Belmond Hotels & Luxury Trains - and a member of the Executive Committee. He also oversaw Fendi and Loro Piana.
Since June 2022 until December 2022, he was Strategic Advisor to LVMH.
