Frank V. McMahon is a founding partner at American Discovery Capital (“ADC”), a middle-market growth equity investment firm based in Los Angeles, California. Prior to forming ADC, Mr. McMahon served as Executive Chairman of DataQuick Information Solutions, a leading property information company, owned by TPG Capital until its successful sale in 2014. He previously served as CEO of First American Information Services (now called CoreLogic) and as Vice Chairman and CFO of The First American Corporation. While at First American, he spearheaded the effort to split the company into two separate publicly traded companies to unlock the value of the data and analytics division, dramatically reduced corporate costs and drove strong organic revenue growth and expanding margins at CoreLogic.
Prior to joining The First American Corporation, he spent 20 years as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers specializing in Financial Institutions. Mr. McMahon holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BS degree in Economics from Villanova University.
Mr. McMahon currently serves on the Board of Directors of Real Matters Inc., on the advisory board of Lereta, Inc. and is actively involved as a board member of several charitable organizations.
