José (Pepe) Clavijo Michelangeli is currently the Chief Product Officer at Praedictus Climate Solutions, where José (Pepe) develops new data products for agri commodities trading, (re)insurance, and climate change-related risk. Prior to this role, José (Pepe) held positions at Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters, where José (Pepe) focused on agricultural research and analysis. José also has a background in academia, with experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at North Carolina State University and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida. José (Pepe) holds a PhD in Agronomy from the University of Florida, with a minor in Applied Statistics. José has a wealth of experience in research, analysis, and mentoring within the fields of agriculture and crop science.
