Bennett Upton

Bennett Upton has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Bennett is currently working as a Cloud Architect at Praeses since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a DevOps Technical Lead at General Dynamics Information Technology from March 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they were a Software Engineer II at Aviation Training Consulting from June 2018 to March 2019. Bennett also worked as a Software Developer at CSRA Inc from August 2016 to May 2018, specializing in DevOps, micro-services, REST architectures, and .NET web development. Bennett Upton started their career as a Researcher at LSU Shreveport from May 2015 to July 2016, and also worked as a Student in Computer Science from June 2014 to July 2016. Bennett served in various roles in the US Air Force, including Avionics Flight Chief, Programs Flight Chief/Security Manager, Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight Production Superintendent, Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight Chief, Aerospace Ground Equipment Supervisor, and AGE Supervisor, Ground Support Systems Section, from 2002 to 2014.

Bennett Upton holds a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Technology with a BioInformatics Concentration from LSU Shreveport, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from LSU Shreveport, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Bennett has an Associate's degree in Military Applied Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force, which they acquired from 1996 to 2000.
