Bruce Kang

Bruce Kang has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and operations. In 2022, they joined Praetorian as a Security Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Synack Red Team as a Security Researcher from December 2021 to July 2022. Bruce also worked at Synack, Inc. as an Associate Security Operations Engineer from August 2021 to July 2022. In addition, Bruce worked at Avanade as a Security Analyst from April 2021 to July 2021.

Bruce Kang began their education at the University of Washington in 2018 but did not complete a degree. From 2019 to 2021, they attended the University of Washington Tacoma, where they pursued a degree in Information Technology with a focus on Information Assurance and Cybersecurity.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Bruce Kang obtained several certifications. In June 2021, they became an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) through Offensive Security. Bruce also holds certifications in Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Security+. These certifications were obtained between June 2020 and January 2023 from institutions such as Offensive Security, Microsoft, and CompTIA.
