Panagiotis Tsarchopoulos

Panagiotis Tsarchopoulos is an experienced Project Manager at Pragma-IoT, overseeing EU-funded research and innovation projects since April 2023. Concurrently, Panagiotis serves as a Tenured Senior Teaching Fellow at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, teaching subjects such as Web Journalism and Digital Cities while focusing research on information technologies in journalism and civic media. Previous roles include Research Associate at the Information Technologies Institute, Independent Expert for the European Commission, and Researcher at URENIO, with a strong background in smart cities and new media. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Urban Planning and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
