Marcos Vélez

Marcos Vélez, President & Chief Visionary Officer at PRAGMA S.A., is a Colombian software entrepreneur who has been involved in the country's software industry since 2005. Marcos is also a previous member of the board of directors for Intersoftware and ESU, Empresa de Seguridad Urbana Medellín. In addition to their work in the software industry, Vélez also served as an advisor to the Minister of Commerce from 2000 to 2001. Prior to their work in the public and private sectors, Vélez worked in export planning for the sock company Calcetines Crystal from 1995 to 1998.

Marcos Vélez is an entrepreneur and business executive who has a degree in production engineering from Universidad EAFIT. Marcos also has a MBA from Harvard Business School and is a specialist in political studies and international business.
