Jos Van Schagen

Jos Van Schagen has worked in the software engineering industry since 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a software developer at Attachmate. In 2006, they moved to AttachmateWRQ, Inc. and worked as a software developer until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they worked at Microsoft as a software developer and at PopCap Games as a Senior Developer. In 2009, they moved to Electronic Arts and worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Marchex as a Manager, Engineer, Architect and Principal Software Engineer. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Bot School Inc. as a Software Engineer and at Phoenix Labs as a Principal Engineer. Since 2020, they have been working as a Principal Engineer at Pragma Platform and as a Freelance Writer of their own website on G&L guitars.

Jos Van Schagen obtained their Drs. in Physics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1982 and 1987. Jos then went on to earn their PhD in Physics and Nuclear Physics from VU Amsterdam between 1987 and 1992.
