Raju Sivasankaran

Chief of Design at Pragya Systems

Raju Sivasankaran has a long and varied work experience. Raju started their career at Verizon in 1997 as a Senior Member of Technical Services, where they invented two US Patents and designed and implemented log analyzers, filters and workflow systems. In 2000, they became the VP Engineering and Co-Founder of Knumi Inc., where they raised $3.2 million and led the engineering team to develop an application development and deployment platform. In 2003, they moved to Infoclarus as the Director of Engineering, directing the development of the J2ME extension of InfoClarus's ICMobile platform. In 2005, they became the Founder of Mindzen, responsible for the overall strategy, technology, operations, hiring and running the company, and also directed the design and development of mZapp Engine Framework. Finally, in 2013, they joined Pragya Systems as the Chief of Design and Director, Ui/Ux.

Raju Sivasankaran began their educational career at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they studied Computer Science. Raju then went on to pursue their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Arlington from 1988 to 1990. Finally, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they were a Ph.D. Candidate (All But Defense) in Computer Science from 1990 to 1996.
