James Buchfink has a diverse work experience in the information technology field. James started their most recent position in November 2022 as the Director of Information Technology at Forum Communications Co. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch from March 2021 to September 2022, where they successfully implemented a new enterprise Electronic Health Records system and completed various facilities improvement projects. James Buchfink earned an M.B.A. in Business from North Dakota State University, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed a B.U.S. degree, also at North Dakota State University, in 1999. Additionally, they hold an A.A.S. degree in Industrial Electronics Technology from North Dakota State College of Science. In terms of certifications, James obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2019, and a Certificate in Sustainable Energy Conversion and Storage from Stanford University in 2009.
