Mary Jo Hotzler has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mary Jo began their career as a Publishing Associate at Simon & Schuster in 1999. Mary Jo then transitioned into the field of journalism and worked as a Reporter, North Dakota Editor, and Deputy Editor for The Forum from 2001 to 2012. In 2012, they became the Editor of the Grand Forks Herald before moving on to become the Director of Forum News Service in 2013. Mary Jo then joined Forum Communications Co. in 2014, where they held various positions including Vice President of Content and Vice President of Integrated Media Operations. In 2018, they assumed the role of Chief Content Officer at Forum Communications Co. Throughout their career, Mary Jo Hotzler has demonstrated strong leadership skills and extensive experience in overseeing newspaper and digital media operations.
Mary Jo Hotzler earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of South Dakota between 1995 and 1999. In addition to their degree, they also obtained three certifications from Pragmatic Institute: PMC Level I in December 2021, PMC Level II in December 2021, and PMC Level III in January 2022.
