John Waller

John Waller has extensive experience in investment banking and advisory services. John is currently a Managing Director at Prairie Capital Advisors, Inc. Prior to this role, they worked as the Managing Director and Founder of Plaisance Advisors for over a decade. John also held positions at Fort Dearborn Advisors, Sucsy, Fischer & Company/Pacific Advisory Group of America, Lincoln International, JTT Poland, Credit Suisse, and KPMG US. Throughout their career, they have excelled in formulating acquisition and divestiture strategies, analyzing enterprise value, negotiating transactions, and leading teams.

John Waller holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa, earned between 1985 and 1989. Prior to that, they completed high school at Marian Catholic High School and obtained their High School Diploma in 1985. After completing their undergraduate degree, John attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 1993 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, International Business, and Accounting.

Furthermore, John Waller has pursued additional certifications in the finance industry. In 1991, they obtained the Series 7 - General Securities Representative certification from FINRA. Later, in 2022, they acquired the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials designation in April, followed by the FINRA Series 79 - Investment Banking Representative certification in November. Most recently, in January 2023, they obtained the FINRA Series 63 certification.
