Scott Perkins

Scott Perkins has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and geospatial technology. Scott currently serves as the Business Development Director at Prairie Engineers, P.C. since 2020. Prior to this, they were the Director of Federal Programs at Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) from 2014 to 2020.

Scott also held various leadership roles in different organizations including being the Chairman of the NOAA - Hydrographic Services Review Panel (HSRP) Federal Advisory Panel from 2014 to 2018. Scott was also the Division Director - PAD at ASPRS (American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) from 2015 to 2017.

In addition, Scott has served as a director in SAME Greater Kansas City Post from 2014 to 2016, and as Vice President at Quantum Spatial from 2013 to 2014. Scott started their career at Aero-Metric, Inc. as Vice President of Business Development from 2012 to 2014, and also served as President at T-Kartor USA from 2012 to 2012. Before that, Scott worked as an Associate VP of Business Development at Wilson & Company, Inc. Engineers & Architects from 2008 to 2012.

Furthermore, they served as a Board of Director at MAPPS (Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors) from 2004 to 2012, showcasing their involvement in the industry. Throughout their career, Scott Perkins has acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of engineering and has been actively engaged in various leadership roles.

Scott Perkins obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Baker University from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Ferris State University from 1979 to 1981, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Photogrammetric Mapping. Additionally, Scott Perkins is a certified geographic information systems (GIS) professional (GISP), acquired in May 2004 from the GIS Certification Institute. Scott also holds a certification as a PADI open water diver, although the institution and date of obtaining this certification are not specified.
