John Hernandez

John Hernandez has extensive experience in sports coaching, media commentary, and digital content management. Currently serving as the Head Coach for both Women's and Men's Tennis at Ames High School, John also works as a Public Address Announcer for basketball and volleyball events at the school. Additionally, John is involved as a television commentator at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino while providing tennis instruction at Harvest Vineyard Church of Ames. Roles at Iowa State University, The Peak Agency, and previous positions with organizations like the American Quarter Horse Association and Hialeah Park Race Track demonstrate expertise in broadcasting and media relations within the sports industry. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.
