Sam Dietrich has a diverse work history, starting as an Operational Excellence Co-Op Student at Cameco Corporation in 2013. In this role, they were responsible for mapping and analyzing current processes, developing new methods, and implementing improved work processes.
Afterwards, Sam worked as a Research Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2015.
They then joined Vivvo Application Studios in 2017 as a Software Developer & Analyst.
In 2018, Sam began working at Raven Industries as a Software Developer for Dot Technology Corp, where they contributed to building the world's first truly autonomous agriculture machine. They also played a crucial role in team growth and management, leading sprint planning meetings and collaborating with various departments for roadmap planning.
In 2019, Sam joined Offstreet Technology as a Software Developer, joining as employee number 1 and working on all aspects of development in the transportation industry.
Currently, Sam holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Prairie Robotics since April 2020.
Sam Dietrich attended the University of Regina from 2011 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (B.A.Sc.) degree. Their major was in Industrial Systems Engineering, and they also completed double minors in Electronics and Software Systems Engineering. In 2015, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Certification from École de technologie supérieure. Before attending university, Sam attended Sheldon-Williams Collegiate from 2007 to 2011, although no specific degree or field of study information was provided. In addition to their formal education, Sam also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in August 2015 through Canada Post in conjunction with the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students.
