Mike Murphy

Mike Murphy, P.Geol, currently serves as the Vice President of Geosciences and Capital Markets at PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. since January 2024. Prior to this role, Mike held various positions at BMO Capital Markets from April 2016 to January 2024, including Director of Equity Research and Vice President of Equity Research. Mike's experience also includes serving as Senior Research Associate for Oil & Gas at Macquarie Group and Vice President of Exploration at Marauder Resources East Coast Inc. Earlier in their career, Mike worked as a Geologist at Fortress Energy. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Calgary and has a Canadian Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.
