Kenneth M. Bueche

Kenneth M. Bueche has extensive experience in the medical device industry, specializing in research and development, product development, and operations. Kenneth M. is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Prana Thoracic, a Houston-based startup focused on developing solutions for the detection and intervention of early-stage lung cancer.

Prior to their current role, Bueche served as an Advisor at TMC Innovation Institute and founded ProTEX Consulting. Kenneth M. also held leadership positions at Saranas, where they served as the Sr. VP of Operations and later as the Chief Operations Officer. Saranas developed a patented technology for the early detection of internal bleeding complications associated with vascular access procedures.

Bueche's experience also includes serving as the Vice President of Research and Development at Millar, Inc., and as the Vice President of Product Development at IDEV Technologies, Inc. Kenneth M. worked at Medtronic as a Senior Manager in research and development, and at Guidant Corp as a Director of Research and Development, Manager of Research and Development Engineering, and Project Group Leader.

Additionally, Bueche held the role of Senior Product Development Engineer at NeoCardia, LLC, and Product Development Engineer at Omnitron, both of which were ultimately acquired by larger medical systems companies.

Throughout their career, Bueche has been involved in developing innovative medical devices, managing product pipelines, and leading research and development teams.

Kenneth M. Bueche received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University. Kenneth M. graduated with honors, achieving Magna Cum Laude, and was part of the Honors Program. Kenneth M. continued their education at Kansas State University and obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to their enrollment in Kansas State University, they studied Pre-Engineering at Fort Hays State University.
