Otis Ranson

Otis Ranson has over four decades of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Otis started their career at Wallace Laboratories in 1978 as a Territory Sales Representative and later served as a District Sales Manager. In 1985, they became the Vice President of Trade Relations at Wallace Laboratories/MedPointe Pharmaceuticals, where they were responsible for interactions with wholesalers, chains, and mail order accounts. Otis developed and implemented distribution plans for new product introductions and maintained relationships with key accounts. In 1997, while still holding the position of VP of Trade Relations, Ranson took on additional responsibilities as the National Account Manager for Managed Care in a 5-state area. Otis focused on formulary placement and coverage for the company's prescription products. In 2003, Ranson joined Prasco Laboratories as a Regional Vice President/Business Development. Otis'srole involved calling on brand pharmaceutical companies and initiating capabilities presentations about Prasco's Authorized Generic Model. In 2020, they became a consultant to Prasco Laboratories.
