Aj Alfieri-Crispin

AJ Alfieri-Crispin has extensive experience in both the arts and technology sectors. Currently a student at Pratt Fine Arts Center since January 2015, AJ specializes in glassblowing and coldworking, while also exploring blacksmithing, woodworking, and lampworking. Previous experience includes an apprenticeship at studioDONG where AJ created metal art objects and assisted in studio operations. AJ has a significant background in IT, having served as a Media Systems Administrator at KQED, Inc. for over a decade, managing core web server systems and using various technologies such as Debian Linux and shell scripting. Earlier roles include desktop support at UCSF, system administration at Transcription Enterprises, and post-processing engineering at AT&T. AJ holds multiple associate's degrees in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology, and Computer Programming, along with an array of art classes from Pratt Fine Arts Center.
