Carlos Acevedo

Carlos Acevedo currently serves as the Head Basketball Coach at Pratt Institute, beginning in April 2024. Previously, Carlos held the position of Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Adelphi University from May 2021 to April 2024, and was a Basketball Coach at Greenwich Country Day School from August 2020 to July 2021. Carlos has also contributed to physical education at the New York City Charter High School for Architecture Engineering, focusing on lesson planning and student engagement during the pandemic. Prior coaching experience includes roles with the NY Rens Basketball Nike EYBL Circuit, Christ The King Regional High, and returning to Adelphi University as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach earlier on. Carlos holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Adelphi University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications, Information Technology, and Social Responsibility from Baruch College.
