Chris Alen Sula

Chris Alen Sula serves as the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs at Pratt Institute, a position held since 2011, where leadership responsibilities include overseeing curriculum, assessment, and accreditation, while supervising various academic departments. As an Associate Professor, Chris Alen Sula founded the MS in Data Analytics & Visualization and the Advanced Certificate in Digital Humanities. Additional roles include Interim Associate Provost for Academic Programs, Assessment, and Accreditation, and a presidency at Pratt Senate, advocating for faculty and academic governance from 2016 to 2022. Previous experience includes co-chairing the Doctoral Students' Council at CUNY and serving as an adjunct lecturer at Lehman College. Chris Alen Sula holds a PhD and an MPhil in Philosophy from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BA in Philosophy and English from Augustana College.
