Christopher Gavlick

Christopher Gavlick serves as the Executive Director Chief Facilities Officer at Pratt Institute since December 2015, overseeing the Facilities Management Department's vision, leadership, and operations, including maintenance, design and construction, energy management, and building services. Prior to this role, Gavlick held positions at Purchase College from January 2003 to December 2015, including Director of Facilities Management and Director of Capital Facilities Planning, managing a large campus serving thousands of students and overseeing capital improvement projects. Additionally, Gavlick worked as a Senior Associate at Abel Bainnson Butz from May 1998 to December 2002, directing office operations and design for complex mixed-use projects. Gavlick earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University between 1984 and 1988.
