Dr. Rodric Bowman

Dr. Rodric Bowman currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Campus Safety and Preparedness at Pratt Institute since April 2023 and is an Adjunct Professor at both Wichita State University and Aurora University. With extensive experience in emergency management and public health, Dr. Bowman has held significant positions such as Director of Northeastern Operations at The Olson Group, Ltd. and Regional Disaster Officer at the American Red Cross. Previous roles include Senior Director of Emergency Management Operations at NYC Health + Hospitals and Deputy Chief of the Preparedness Bureau at the NJ Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness. Dr. Bowman's educational background includes a Doctor of Science in Civil Security Leadership Management and Policy from New Jersey City University, a Master’s degree in Emergency Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Western Connecticut State University.
