Erik Verboon Aia

Erik Verboon AIA currently serves as Senior Principal and National Director of Enclosure Engineering at Walter P Moore, a position held since February 2016, and has previously worked as Principal and Managing Director for the New York office. Erik is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Pratt Institute, providing specialized instruction as a Facade Consultant to the undergraduate design studio since 2011, and has held an adjunct faculty position at Columbia University from January 2015 to November 2022. Prior professional experience includes roles as Associate at BuroHappold Engineering, Graduate Professor at the Product Architecture Lab at Stevens Institute of Technology, and various positions as Intern Architect and Architect at multiple firms including SOM and SHoP Architects. Erik holds a Master’s of Engineering in Product Architecture and Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
