James Garrison

James Garrison has an extensive background in architecture, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Masters of Architecture Program at Pratt Institute since 2008 and as Principal at Garrison Architects since 2001. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Professor positions at Parsons School of Design, where Garrison taught from 1992 to 2008, and Columbia University, where Garrison held the title of Adjunct Assistant Professor and Director of Architectural Technology from 1984 to 1992. Garrison also partnered at Garrison Siegel Architects from 1993 to 2001 and led James Garrison Architects from 1991 to 1993. Before this, Garrison was a partner at Polshek and Partners from 1977 to 1991, and started the career as an intern at Skoler Lee Architects in 1974. Garrison earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University in 1977.
