Jean Hartig

Jean Hartig is an experienced editor and communications professional with a strong background in literary and arts publishing. Currently serving as the Director of Editorial at Pratt Institute's Prattfolio since January 2016, Jean manages editorial processes, oversees budgets, and coordinates content production. Additionally, Jean has a freelance career writing and editing for notable clients such as Penguin and the University of Pennsylvania, and previously held positions including Director of Communications at Back on My Feet and Contributing Editor at Vogue Patterns Magazine. Jean earned an MFA in Writing-Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor's Degree in English from Radford University.
