Dennis Barker is an experienced Design & Analysis Engineer at Pratt & Miller Engineering since August 2013, with a focus on designing aluminum and titanium closed die forgings for the aerospace industry during a previous role at Alcoa from July 2009 to August 2013. At Alcoa, responsibilities included designing appropriate tooling and analyzing forging processes using specialized software. Proficient in Catia V5 CAD software, Dennis also developed forging and tooling quotes for new business opportunities. Earlier experience includes an internship with Ingersoll Rand - Von Duprin, where contributions were made to the redesign of electroplating lines, and a co-op at Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing, assisting in the start-up of a new plant. Dennis holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, obtained in 2009.
