Michael McCurdy

Michael McCurdy is an experienced Program Manager at Pratt & Whitney since June 2023, with a strong background in defense and aviation operations. Previously serving as the Director and Commanding Officer of Aircraft Propulsion Operations at the Defense Contract Management Agency from 2018 to 2022, McCurdy oversaw contract management and quality assurance for significant Department of Defense aviation propulsion contracts. A retired Captain from the US Navy, McCurdy's extensive military career included key roles at Naval Air Systems Command, where leadership was demonstrated in the F/A-18 & EA-18G program, and in various positions managing personnel and aviation maintenance operations aboard multiple aircraft carriers. McCurdy holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics & Marketing Management from Cornell University.
