Rene D Gabbai

Rene D Gabbai is an accomplished Senior Structures Engineer at Pratt & Whitney since February 2017, with expertise in conducting detailed structural assessments and analyses for military engine components and commercial engines. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D Engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Senior Engineer specializing in riser systems at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants, and Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The Catholic University of America. Additional experience includes contributions to riser design and analysis at 2H Offshore Engineering, and postdoctoral research at NIST focused on wind effects on high-rise buildings. Rene D Gabbai holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami.
