Sean McGee

Sean McGee is a Senior Principal System Design Engineer specializing in military development at Pratt & Whitney since June 2013. With a strong background in mechanical design, Sean has led compressor rotor design for military programs and contributed to the design of gas turbine bearing compartments. Experience includes performing tolerance stack-ups, providing production support, and serving in various engineering roles focused on both commercial and military applications. Prior to Pratt & Whitney, Sean gained valuable experience as a Co-op Engineer at Delta Air Lines, where responsibilities included structural analysis and software development for crack growth simulation. Sean holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
