Josue Zelaya

Josue Zelaya has extensive work experience in software engineering, specializing in Java development. Josue began their career at Avianca in 2014, where they worked on the MRO Migration project, developing a web application for data migration. Josue utilized Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Oracle to create the application, which involved transforming data and generating reports for regulatory audits.

In 2015, Zelaya joined the Ministry of Finance - El Salvador as a Java EE Technology Consultant. Josue developed technological components for the Integrated Financial Administration System (SAFI2), utilizing JSF, PrimeFaces, Hibernate, and JBoss.

From 2016 to 2017, Zelaya worked as a Java Developer at Applaudo Studios, where they focused on backend development for advertising systems. Josue was responsible for maintaining the Legacy Ads Server using Java and PHP.

In 2017, Zelaya joined TELUS International Central America as a Java Developer. Josue worked on the Netcracker platform, supporting the development and infrastructure changes for a major Canadian telecommunications company. Zelaya also created dynamic jobs and reports using Dataflux Data Management Studio.

Most recently, Zelaya joined Praxent in 2019 as a Software Engineer. Josue is working on the backend of the Procella project, using the Spring Framework. Zelaya's responsibilities involve developing the Procella web API to support PBM's rules and validations for claims administration.

Throughout their career, Zelaya has gained expertise in various technologies and frameworks, such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, JSF, PrimeFaces, and JBoss.

Josue Zelaya attended the Universidad de El Salvador from 2007 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero de Sistemas Informaticos with a field of study in Ingeniería de sistemas. Josue has also acquired additional certifications, including Neural Networks and Deep Learning from DeepLearning.AI in February 2021, and Machine Learning from Stanford Online in August 2020.
