Brandyn Edlow has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Brandyn started as a Summer Intern at Airforce Research Lab in 2017, followed by a position as a Teaching Assistant at Norfolk State University. In 2018, they worked as a Big Data Graduate Researcher at Norfolk State University, where they conducted research on cybersecurity and machine/deep learning. Brandyn gained expertise in Python and data analysis tools such as Elastic Search, Spark, and Hadoop.

In 2019, Brandyn joined the National Security Agency as a Computer Scientist, where they contributed to back-end development work in languages like Python, C, and C++. Brandyn collaborated with a team of data scientists to improve the performance of automated applications and High Performance Computing (HPC) applications. Brandyn also assessed the effectiveness of security solutions and utilized Linux and git/github for their projects.

From 2021 to 2022, Brandyn worked as a Full-stack Developer at Leading Path Consulting. Brandyn provided support in software development, installed Linux servers and virtualized environments, and completed ETL work using Data bricks, resulting in a 65 percent increase in ingested data.

Currently, in 2022, Brandyn is employed as an ETL Developer at Praxis Engineering.

Brandyn Edlow attended Norfolk State University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Brandyn continued their education at Norfolk State University from 2017 to 2019, earning a Master of Computer Science with a focus on Business/Commerce, General. In addition to their degrees, Brandyn also obtained a COMPUTER NETWORK OPERATIONS CERTIFICATION from ManTech in August 2020.
