Anthony Distefano, CASAC, SAP, IC&RC, has extensive experience in substance abuse treatment and management. Currently serving as a Senior Substance Abuse Specialist at Praxis Housing Initiatives, Inc. since January 2014, Anthony oversees a 61-unit apartment complex and collaborates with the Department of Housing to place clients in permanent housing while supervising case managers and facilitating treatment for individuals with substance abuse and mental health issues. Previously, Anthony held leadership roles as Clinical Director at Bridge Back to Life and Daytop Village, where responsibilities included operation management, staff training, quality assurance, and implementing community marketing strategies. Anthony also served as Sr. Clinical Director at TRI Center, Inc., effectively managing multiple sites and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Anthony holds a certification from Molloy College in substance abuse counseling and related fields.
