VP of Content at Pray

Max Bard has worked in the media industry since 2005. Max began their career as a Creative Producer at Magic Bard Productions, LLC, where they partnered with the marketing, communications, and social media teams to produce video content that would drive brand awareness. In 2013, they became a Creative Producer at Ultra Records, where they managed music video budgets, provided actionable creative direction on set, and oversaw external vendors for production.

In 2014, Max began working as a Freelance Video Producer for Dropbox, where they worked with the Sales, Communications, and Brand Marketing teams to produce promotional and social impact videos. In 2015, they became a Video Producer at REP Interactive, where they created dynamic online videos, 3D Media, and interactive sales tools.

In 2016, Max became the President of VideoFort, Hollywood's largest supplier of aerial and nature stock footage. Max was brought on to increase its profitability and successfully turned the company around and sold it in the Fall of 2017. During this time, they also founded Proathlos, a personal training on demand iOS platform, and worked as a Freelance Video Producer for Thumbtack and AwesomenessTV.

In 2018, Max joined Pray.com as a Freelance Video Producer and has since held the roles of Content Producer, Content Product Manager, Director of Content, and VP of Content. In these roles, they have managed creative content budgets, executed on the content production roadmap, acted as the point of contact with talent agencies, collaborated with external partners, and implemented data-informed strategies to achieve positive ROIC.

Max Bard graduated from Westlake High School with a High School Diploma in General Studies. Max then attended the University of Southern California, earning a BA in Cinematic Arts. Max followed this with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cinematic Arts: Directing Intensive from USC. In 2016, they obtained a SEO Specialist Qualification from ClickMinded.
