Annie Bost has a diverse work experience. Annie started their career at the University of Minnesota as a Music Theory Teaching Assistant from September 2010 to May 2012. During this time, they assisted in teaching undergraduate music theory and ear training classes, developed syllabi, and conducted tutoring sessions.
After their role at the University, Annie joined Feed My Starving Children in November 2009 as a Team Leader. In this position, they supervised volunteer groups in packing nutritious food for malnourished children. Annie also engaged volunteers in the FMSC mission and helped distribute the food to over 60 countries. Annie remained in this role until April 2013.
Following their experience at Feed My Starving Children, Annie joined Praying Pelican Missions (PPM) as a Missions Coordinator from April 2013 to January 2016. In this role, they coordinated mission trips and assisted in organizing various mission projects.
Annie then took on the role of Haiti Operations Manager at PPM from January 2016 to June 2019, focusing on managing operations and logistics in Haiti.
Annie subsequently became the Strategic Development Manager at PPM from June 2019 to September 2021. In this position, Annie played a pivotal role in the strategic development and growth of the organization.
Annie is currently the Director of Marketing and Recruiting at Praying Pelican Missions, a role they assumed in September 2021. Annie'sresponsibilities include overseeing marketing efforts and team recruitment, with a focus on sharing the positive impact of local churches around the world and inviting others to be part of PPM's mission.
Annie Bost began their education at St. Olaf College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music Theory and Composition. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they attended the University of Minnesota, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music Theory.
