Chiamaka Lindsey Okafor

Chiamaka Lindsey Okafor is an Optometric Technician at The Eyecare Center since September 2023, where responsibilities include assisting optometrists with annual eye exams, utilizing diagnostic equipment, and managing patient histories. Chiamaka also serves on the Social Media Committee for Scholars for Immigration, promoting organization awareness, and engages in virtual shadowing programs through UT Southwestern Medical Center and Pre-Health Shadowing. Previous volunteer experience includes the Swedish Medical Center and roles such as Undergraduate Virtual Research Assistant at the American Physician Scientists Association. Chiamaka holds a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Anthropology and Global Health from the University of Washington.
