Babak Saleck Pay

Babak Saleck Pay is a seasoned data scientist with significant experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Sr Data Scientist at Precima, a NielsenIQ Company, since September 2017, Babak leverages advanced analytical techniques. Prior roles include Research Assistant and Instructor at Virginia Commonwealth University, focusing on Algebra, Regression Modeling, and Pre-Calculus, as well as serving as President of the INFORMS Student Chapter at VCU, where Babak established the chapter and engaged fellow students. Babak's earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position at the University of Tehran and an internship as a System Analyst at SMART Marketing Consulting Group, where statistical analysis was applied to sales data. Babak holds a PhD in Systems Modeling and Analysis from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master's in Operations Research from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
