Jens de Vos

Jens De Vos has a diverse work experience starting with student jobs at Tibotec in 2004. Jens then pursued a PhD at VIB and Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they had an industrial internship at Janssen in 2009. In 2014, they co-founded Precirix, where they held various roles such as Head of R&D Operations, Operations Manager, and Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, they were a Board Member at ISPE Belgium Affiliate vzw.

Jens De Vos completed their education history by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Bio-engineering sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2005, followed by a Master's degree in Bio-engineering with a focus on Cell- and Genebiotechnology - Medical Biotechnology in 2010. Jens then pursued a PhD in Bio-Engineering Sciences from the same university, which they completed in 2014. In 2017-2018, they furthered their education by completing an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Vlerick Business School. Additionally, Jens obtained various certifications in areas such as Venture Deals, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Tech Transfer throughout their career.
