Alexander Kukay, PhD, is a Senior Battery Research Scientist at Precise Systems, Inc., specializing in battery technologies since February 2025. Previously, Alexander held the position of Battery Scientist II at Ion Storage Systems, contributing to the development of next-generation hybrid solid-state lithium-free batteries. Alexander’s academic journey includes a PhD in Energy Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of North Dakota. Alexander also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing undergraduate physics courses, and has accumulated extensive research experience, including roles at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, focusing on lithium-ion battery production and electrochemical interactions.
