Mei B.

Mei B. has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Mei is currently the Senior Director of Finance and Corporate Controller at Precision BioSciences, Inc., where they collaborate with senior executives to implement the company's investor relations strategy. Prior to their current position, Mei was the Director of Investor Relations and Finance at Precision BioSciences. Mei also held roles as the Director of Financial Reporting and Associate Director of Financial Reporting at the same company. Before joining Precision BioSciences, Mei worked as the Assistant Controller at Heat Biologics, where they managed SEC filings and established financial close policies. Prior to that, they were a Senior Accountant at Cempra Pharmaceuticals, where they served as the Finance Key Personnel on a government contract. Mei's earlier experiences include working as an Accounting Manager at the Institute for Defense and Business and as a Staff Auditor at Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. In these roles, they supervised staff, prepared financial forecasts, conducted audits, and performed compliance testing.

Mei B. completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting at West Virginia University from 2003 to 2007. In 2011, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountants.
