Amanda Woodrooffe is the SVP & General Manager of UK Labs at Precision For Medicine. Amanda has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Amanda has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester and a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of London.

Woodrooffe began their career as a Laboratory Technician at Wellcome Research Laboratories in 1987. Amanda then moved to GSK in 1996, where they worked in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK). In 2001, they joined Pharmagene as Senior Department Head of Biochemical Pharmacology.

In 2006, Woodrooffe became Director of Scientific Development at Asterand UK Ltd. Amanda then moved to Asterand Bioscience in 2010 as General Manager, UK. In August 2017, they joined BioIVT as VP & General Manager UK. Amanda has been with Precision For Medicine since May 2020.

Woodrooffe obtained a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology from the University of Hertfordshire before going on to complete a PhD in Drug metabolism at the University of Cambridge.

Amanda Woodrooffe reports to Chad Clark, President. They are on a team with Karen Richards - SVP, In Vitro Diagnostics & Quality, Stephen Rundlett - VP, Bioanalytical Services, and Gerald Messerschmidt - Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Solutions.
