William Cromwell

William Cromwell is the current Chief Medical Officer at Precision Health Reports. Prior to this, they worked at LabCorp from January 2015 to January 2019 as their Strategic Director and Discipline Director of Cardiovascular Disease. In this role, they were responsible for leading LabCorp's cardiometabolic clinical initiatives with external organizations, leading the Cardiovascular Business Advisory Team, and working with LabCorp's Global Research and Development team to provide clinical oversight for the development of new laboratory-developed tests (LDT) using NMR cardiovascular biomarkers. William also collaborated with marketing and managed care leadership to refine clinical positioning for cardiometabolic biomarkers, managed relationships with academic and community cardiometabolic key opinion leaders, and responded to clinical inquiries regarding cardiometabolic biomarker interpretation for LabCorp customers and the LabCorp field sales force. In addition, they supported the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Science Officer, and senior management team with strategies for properly utilizing cardiometabolic biomarkers and presented CPT submissions to CMS for approval of new codes and payment for proprietary cardiometabolic biomarkers.

William Cromwell completed an MD at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, a BA in Chemistry at the University of Mississippi, and certification from the American Board of Clinical Lipidology and the American Board of Family Medicine. William also has certification from the North Carolina Medical Board.
