During this time, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cell Physiology from the same institution, which they completed in 2001.

After completing their MD, Danny Goel went on to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Calgary from 2003 to 2008. Danny then pursued a Shoulder Fellowship at Western University from 2008 to 2009. Subsequently, they completed another Shoulder Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 2009-2010.
