Stuart Magoveny

Stuart Magoveny has worked in the mechanical design field since 2000. Stuart began their career at Illumina/Cyvera-Cidra as a Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for the complete mechanical design of a prototype instrument for proof of concept. In 2007, they moved to 454 Life Sciences as a Senior R&D Mechanical Designer, where they designed manufacturing components for genome sequencing instrumentation. Stuart then worked at AOS, Aperture Optical Sciences, as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer from 2013-2015. Since 2015, they have worked at FiberQA as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they have designed fiber optic connector automated inspection and cleaning OEM products for Aerospace, Telecommunication, and military applications. Currently, they are employed at Precision X-Ray, Inc. as a Sr. Mechanical Designer.

Stuart Magoveny attended Northeastern University from 1981 to 1983, studying Mechanical Engineering without obtaining a degree.
